The Racer’s Group (TRG) is a professional sportscar racing business centered in Petaluma, California. Since 1993, TRG can been adept at successfully managing teams of unprecedented competitive scope and at executing visionary marketing programs. Overall winners of the Rolex 24 At Daytona, and class winners at the renowned 24 Hours of LeMans in 2005, TRG was selected by General Motors as their sole, worldwide, factory-backed racing team for 2006, campaigning the flagship Pontiac GTO.R in The Grand American Rolex Series. That selection paid dividends for GM Racing, as TRG swept all three titles in the Rolex Series in 2006, capturing the drivers, manufacturers and team titles. For 2007, TRG has returned to its roots, racing Porsche 911s against manufacturer-backed efforts from Mazda, Ford Mustang, BMW and Pontiac. The #66 CRG karts/TRG Porsche of RJ Valentine and Andy Lally stormed to its first victory of 2007 recently at Laguna Seca, the iconic Northern California track, and look set to push hard for the championship for the rest of the season.
In addition to a six-car professional racing team, The Racer’s Group offers an expanding multi-make performance product line. TRG’s facility includes 20,000 square feet of storage, service, office and shop space, staff by 20 full-time member of The Racer’s Group.
